Pond-builders at the community garden reflect on their work
We are proud of the pond we built as part of our pond course, led by Steven, in November. We measured the site and considered its aspect, before coming up with a design suitable for its situation in the Wildlife Area.
Pond Construction Course: Apr-May 2012A chance to learn in a friendly, working environment. The course will involve building a pond for our new Bee Garden, as well as planting up our new pond at the People’s Community Garden and learning how to maintain and manage it – especially for the benefit of wildlife.
Gardening Course: Feb-Mar 2012A chance to learn in a friendly, working environment, with plenty opportunity to practise new skills. This course is ideal for people who have been unemployed for some time and/ or are looking for a new direction
