Vegetable Games

The Vegetable Games 2010 is a fantastic new initiative led by the People's Community Garden, based on the time-honoured produce show - but with some fun competitions too!

The Vegetable Games 2010 aims to get everyone growing - not only the biggest and the best, but the weirdest and most wonderful. It wants to get everyone doing more exercise - not in the fastest spring or the highest jump - but by Beating the Root or in the Cucumber Relay. It wants everyone to be creative and fun - by drawing meals and making vegetables.

This pilot event is looking ahead to the Olympic Games in 2012, when we hope to get every allotment field in Ipswich to run competitions and events inspire by the Olympic Games.
