Love Your Heart Neighbourhood Lunch

Love Your HeartThe Town and Bridge ActivCommunities Group would like to invite the residents of Stoke to a free Love Your Heart Neighbourhood Lunch on Saturday 26th February at St Mary at Stoke Church Hall, Stoke Street. The event will be open from 11am – 3.30pm and lunch will be served between 12 noon and 3pm.

Julie Stokes Town & Bridge Project Manager said, ‘We would really like to meet more Stoke residents and hope people will come and join us for a free healthy lunch. The event will also be an opportunity for people to meet other local organisations working in the area, sing along to the Keep on Rockin group, join DanceEast in creative dance sessions, have your face painted and there will be interesting activities for children and adults with the People’s Community Garden.’

The event has been funded by Age UK Fit as a Fiddle Programme and Safer Suffolk Foundation and there will also be a thank you to the Church, IBC Area Forums, Ipswich Community Fund and Suffolk County Councillor Bryony Rudkin for their support in installing a new kitchen in the Church Hall.

The Mayor of Ipswich will be attending the event at 11.45am and then will be joining everyone for lunch.
